Frequently Asked Questions
• Can I send you an order by post instead?
If you print of a copy of our postal order form you can post this to us with your photograph and a cheque or your card details. (the order form can be printed off if you click on the link which is located on the top right hand side of every page, under our telephone number).
• Will my photograph be returned?
Yes we will return your photograph to you along with your receipt, but please note that they will arrive separately to your beer or wine.
• Is it ok to use a black and white image?
You can use black and white or colour photographs and both work equally as well.
• Do I have to have a photograph on my label?
We do recommend using a photograph on your label, however if you are unable to get a picture you can use a piece of clipart, a painting, a cartoon or a logo. If you are having trouble finding something please contact us and we will do our best to help you come up with something.
• How big does my image need to be?
As long as your actual image is no smaller than a passport size photo then it should be fine. If we have a problem with your image then we will contact you.
• Should I crop my image?
No, please provide us with the full image and just let us know who or what you want us to use and we will crop the image as necessary. (please indicate this in the additional information box when placing your order).
• What format should I send my image in?
We would prefer it if you could attach your image as a jpeg file (jpg) or as a bitmap file (bmp). If this is not possible attach it in whatever format you can manage and we will do our best to use it or we will get in touch if we have a problem.
• Can I have different photos and wording on each label?
When ordering any of our products you are paying for one label design, if you want to make changes we do charge extra. Every time we have to make a change to the original label we charge £2.50. For example if you wanted to have 12 bottles of beer, 6 with one photo and 6 with another we would charge you and additional £2.50. We also apply the same charge to wording, For example, if you had ordered 12 bottles of beer and you wanted to have 6 done with a different photo and different wording then we would charge you and additional £5.00. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like a quote for additional images and wording.
• How long will it take to produce?
Our normal timescale is next working day providing we receive your order before 11am and we have all the necessary information.
• Can I see a copy of my label before they are printed?
Under normal circumstances we wouldn't provide you with a copy of your label to approve, but if we are unsure or unhappy with anything we will send you a copy to check over first.
• When do you deliver?
We use a courier service who deliver Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm, however Saturday delivery is available at an additional charge. Please note that our couriers do require a signature as proof of delivery so please try to provide us with a delivery address where someone will be available to take delivery such as work or neighbours. If this isn't possible please contact us as we can often give the couriers alternative instructions to leave the goods safe.
• What happens if I have popped out when the couriers deliver?
Unless prior instructions have been given to leave a package safe the delivery driver should put a card through your door to say they have tried to deliver and asking you to contact them to arrange a convenient time to come back.
• Can I have the goods delivered directly to the recipient?
Yes we can deliver directly to the recipient, your name will be detailed on the address label too so they will know who has sent it.
• Can I send a card to you to put in the package?
If you are going to have the goods delivered directly to the recipient and would like to post us a greetings card or a message to go in the top of the package then we would be happy to do this for you. Please contact us to let us know if you are posting something to us.
• What are your opening hours?
Our office is manned from 9am-5pm 7 days a week but an answer phone service is available if we have popped out and we will return your call as soon as possible.
• Do you personalise anything other than wine, beer & Champagne?
Although we don't advertise it we are able to offer personalised Whisky, Port & Vodka. Please contact us with your requirements and for a quote.
• Do you offer a discounts for large orders?
We are often able to offer you a discount for bulk orders. We treat each enquiry on an individual basis as we also base it on the delivery location as well as the quantity as we are sometimes able to reduce the cost if we can deliver the goods ourselves. So please contact us with your requirements and we would be happy to provide you with a quote.
